ACT has provided the technical interpretation of the visual artist's concept,
including the sourcing, specification and commissioning of the equipment
for several of David Ward's projects. These include The Friar Street, Reading,
Public Art Project, Cromer "Prospect" and "Sky Lights"
at the cancer Centre, Queen Elizabeth's Hospital, Birmingham. |

ACT provided specialist display lighting design to the major refurbishment
programme which has provided a gallery for the display of modern and contemporary
art and an enlarged second gallery, visitor resource area and improved visitor
facilities. |

ACT was commissioned to provide the detailed design of the audio-visual
and film installation in the Presentation Auditorium and the lighting
and display cases design for the Sensitive Materials Display Area. |

Design and analysis of the technical issues involved in the Council's Capital
Arts Strategy proposals and based on meeting four needs:
- Development of a new performing arts venue
- Conversion of riverside building for use as a visual arts base and
administrative resource for ADeC
- District-wide improvements to 20 existing small-scale arts and performance
venues
- Provision of a mobile bank of equipment for use across the District.
