ACT Design Project Works are led by Chris Baldwin and John Coffey who can provide planning and design services for auditoria and associated arts facilities, providing specialist advice in the following areas:

- Theatrical equipment planning, specification and commissioning
- Technical planning for conference venues
- Audio-visual equipment planning, specification and commissioning
- Upgrading of audio-visual equipment and integration with existing systems

- Architectural and gallery lighting design
- Detailed design services throughout construction
The company is based in Madingley, near Cambridge. This design office
uses in-house full colour CAD 2D equipment for general drafting and 3D
for illustrative work.
ACT works closely with clients to gain the most cost-effective solution to design development and to procurement. ACT's role is as both design and technical consultant from feasibility study to successful completed building.
Of course it doesn't stop when the building opens. ACT addresses all the operational issues to ensure venues are easy to run, accessible and friendly, deliver an enjoyable experience, and require the minimum of staff. ACT can draw up the constitution, recruit and induct the Board, recruit, interview and train the staff, ready for opening night.
