ACT recently completed this feasibility study and implementation plan
for new cultural facilities in Chatham Centre which was commissioned
by Medway Renaissance working in partnership with Medway Council. This
will be a three-part report provided a Needs Analysis, Feasibility Study
and Implementation Plan for New Cultural Facilities in Chatham Centre.
Our report has assessed the cultural needs for arts and entertainment
facilities for the Medway Council area in the context of the planned growth
in population as part of the Thames Gateway.
Existing buildings in Chatham and environs have been identified which
could meet some of the needs. Gaps in provision have been identified following
site analysis and outline design development.
