The Maltings, Ely
ACT designed the remodelling of the Elysian Hall in Spring 2002
and the accompanying improvements to the technical infrastructure,
to include:
- a new lighting control system, dimmers, DMX data system and
internally wired bars
- alterations to the stage front to allow for the addition of
a modular forestage extension
- replacement of stage tracks and curtains
The Mobile Bank of Equipment
This resource that is housed in a purpose-designed store in Ely
is available, via ADeC, throughout the community at an affordable
cost. Equipment available includes lighting, sound, staging, exhibition
and digital photographic and recording equipment. This project was
granted Lottery Funding and is now operational. For further information

Improvements to small-scale arts venues
Twenty venues including
two primary schools and four village colleges throughout East
Cambridgeshire have received improvements to their arts facilities.
ACT carried out an assessment of their existing provision and
made recommendations to East Cambridgeshire District Council for
improvements ensuring a basic level of theatrical provision to
each venue.
