Micro Cinema

This is a £14 million mixed use development by Leicester City Council (in association with Blueprint) which spreads across a whole city block. The design by architects Marsh and Grochowski includes a new digital media centre, a creative workplace and live/work accommodation. There are proposals for a hotel being developed on the remaining part of the site.

ACT Consultant Services have worked as auditorium planners for the three screens in the new digital media facility which also includes a digital gallery, screen lounge, café/bar, offices and education spaces. The building opened to the public in Autumn 2009.
